Trango Transportation Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") outline the terms of service provided by Trango Transportation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to you, the customer ("Customer," "you," or "your"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding with your transportation order.
Service Overview
Trango Transportation is registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation. By entering this Agreement, the Customer authorizes Trango Transportation to contract with fully licensed and insured Motor Carriers ("Carrier(s)") to transport vehicles as specified in the Customer's shipping order.
Pickup and Delivery Services
The Carrier assigned to your vehicle will pick up and deliver as close to the requested address as legally and safely as possible. When necessary, such as in the presence of low-hanging trees, wires, narrow streets, or restrictive residential zones, an alternative, mutually agreed location may be selected for loading or unloading.
Scheduling and Delays
Trango Transportation will provide estimated pickup and delivery dates. However, due to factors like weather, road conditions, and mechanical issues, delays can occur. We do not guarantee exact dates for pickup or delivery and are not liable for any losses, car rental fees, or accommodation costs arising from delays.
Vehicle Preparation
The Customer is responsible for preparing the vehicle for transport by ensuring:
If any part of the vehicle becomes detached during transport, the Customer is liable for any damage caused to other vehicles or property.
Alarm Systems
Any vehicle alarm system must be disarmed, or the Customer must provide clear instructions on how to disable it. If the alarm sounds and there is no way to turn it off, the Carrier reserves the right to silence it by any means necessary.
Personal Items and Prohibited Materials
Customers may place personal items in the vehicle's trunk only, with a maximum allowable weight of 100 lbs. Trango Transportation and the Carrier are not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle or damage caused by improper loading. Prohibited items include explosives, firearms, ammunition, flammable products, narcotics, valuables, live animals or plants, and any unlawful materials. Any unauthorized items found may be disposed of without remuneration.
International Shipments
For international transport, vehicles must be empty except for factory-installed equipment. The Customer must provide the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the approximate value of the vehicle in U.S. dollars. Proper customs documentation is the Customer’s responsibility.
Oversized or Inoperable Vehicles
If the vehicle is oversized, modified, or inoperable, the Customer must notify Trango Transportation in advance to assess additional fees. If undisclosed, additional charges may apply and will be due at delivery.
Communication and Cancellations
Once a Carrier has been assigned, Trango Transportation will notify the Customer via phone or email. It is the Customer's responsibility to keep their contact information current throughout the transportation process.

SMS Communication Consent
The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Types of SMS Communications: If you have consented to receive text messages from Trango Transportation, you may receive messages related to the following:
Example: "Hello, this is Trango Transportation reminding you of your vehicle pickup scheduled for [Date] at [Time]. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time."
Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 6 SMS messages per week regarding your appointment or account status.
Potential Fees for SMS Messaging: Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
Opt-In Method: You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Trango Transportation in the following ways:

Vehicle Inspection
A thorough inspection of the vehicle’s exterior will be conducted at pickup. Both the Carrier and Customer will document the condition on a Vehicle Inspection Report, which will be signed by both parties. Upon delivery, a final inspection will be conducted to identify any transportation-related damages. Any damage must be documented on the Bill of Lading at delivery; otherwise, the vehicle is considered delivered in satisfactory condition.
Damage Claims
All damage claims must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery and submitted in writing within 24 hours. Trango Transportation will provide Carrier insurance information upon request. Damage claims do not exempt the Customer from the obligation to pay transport fees in full as required by ICC regulations.
Payments and Charges
The Customer agrees to pay Trango Transportation and/or Carrier for transportation services as follows:
Storage Fees
If the Customer is unable to receive the vehicle at the delivery location, the Carrier may place the vehicle in storage. The Customer will be responsible for any storage and associated delivery fees.
Limited Liability
Trango Transportation and the Carrier are not liable for damages caused by "Acts of God" such as weather events, hail, or other natural occurrences, or damages caused by mechanical or pre-existing issues in the vehicle.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state. Any disputes related to this Agreement will be exclusively resolved in the state or federal courts. The parties waive the right to argue that any jurisdiction other than the specified one is inconvenient or improper.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement, along with the shipping order and Bill of Lading, represents the entire agreement between the Customer and Trango Transportation. Any modifications must be documented in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Trango Transportation.
By using Trango Transportation’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms.
